e-POWER is a powertrain innovation from Nissan that sits between hybrid and full EV. Unlike a traditional hybrid, the internal combustion engine (ICE) serves only as a power source for the lightweight lithium-ion battery—see ya later, plug, and farewell to range anxiety. Plus, as the wheels are driven only by electric motors, e-POWER offers the driving experience of an EV—quiet, smooth, and instant acceleration.
To land all of this in an emotive, simple way, our campaign centres around the story of a Nissan X-TRAIL e-POWER in a playful chase with a futuristic, battery-charged droid through the vast Australian outback.
